Hi all- One of my 4H kids is looking for a sow to breed to a roan coronet boar she has. She doesn't want to show it so it doesn't matter if it is cut down already or chewed. She wants one that is big enough to breed right now if possible. Anyone have a spare coronet sow available? It doesn't even matter if she's already had a couple of litters, as long as she's decent quality and still has some breeding left in her.

I've seen her roan before. Beautiful guy! I wish I could use him as a stud for one of my pigs, but I don't have any self Coronet sows. I have a self red Coronet boar though. I plan to get some Silkie Roans from someone at the Convention if they bring them. It's VERY hard finding self Coronets, especially sows!
They can be bred to Brokens I heard. I have a broken Coronet Sow that could be bred around May 1st. But I am not selling her.
She could breed him to a GA, but the GA I have for sale is a boar!
How long can she wait to get a sow for him? I probably won't have Coronets for awhile, since when I get some Silkie sows, I'm going to keep the Coronets for myself! Coronets are so darn rare!

Is she willing to trade or sell him at all? I have 2 Coronet sows in breeding and should have registerable pups by mid August. I'd LOVE to have him, since I have a sow (Silkie though) that would be PERFECT for him! A Golden Solid! I bet she won't sell him though. Lol.
Does she have any other breeds she needs pigs for? Since I could trade her a nice Aby or Peruvian for that boar, but then again I don't think she is willing to trade. I can't trade an American though, since I do not have anything in Americans to sell... lol, only a pair that will be bred in a few months. But I'd give her a nice pup from the litter for free! Do you know who the breeder is she got him from? Coronet roans are sooo rare around here!
