Hi Group- One of our 4H families recently had a cavy disater and lost a bunch of animals. As we all know, these things happen and are terrible but after you gain some perspective you can reevaluate your breeding program and figure out how to move forward.
They are going to Ventura to go shopping. I'm wondering what everyone is bringing to sell. I'd like to give them a heads up on what might be available so they can being to think about what they might want to do. Thanks for your help.

I've got a bunch of pigs for sale, but sadly I won't be there, since we don't really go to Southern California shows. But I have some good Dilute Solids and Silver Agouti tri for sale. Two sows, and a boar. I have other pigs, but sadly, they are just pets or can be shown, since they are almost 11 months and haven't had their first litter, and 11 month is way too old for me to risk ever breeding them, nor would I want anyone else to risk breeding them. I also have some Coronets for sale. Since recently we had a accidental of Coronets... my male Peruvian, Asteroid, got out and got Razzle pregnant, but hey for the most part two of the three pups are showable, and I found out I'll keep Razzle Dazzle as a breeder, since she is a superb mother, and had all live, healthy pups! Only a few of my coronets are for sale, since I need to make room, since I'm going to try to start to get some Silver Agouti Silkies to try to get Coronet Silver Agoutis. Plus I need room for my Abys, Coronets, Peruvians, so all my Americans & American Satins are for sale, and three of my Americans would be excellent for a cavy breeder wanting to work on Silver Agoutis and Dilute Solids; they have nice type, just need to have the color worked out on them. And they sure are big pigs! The boar, Ivan, is 50 ounces.
